Yes. The Seed Cost Per Acre Calculator estimates seed pounds and total cost using acreage, a seeding rate in pounds per acre, and seed price per pound. Use the seed population tool when germination and target stand are part of your calculation.
Multiply pounds of fertilizer product applied per acre by the product price per pound. When the price is quoted per US short ton, divide the per-acre product pounds by 2,000 and multiply by the price per ton. This cost estimate does not choose a nutrient rate.
Yes. The nozzle-flow calculator estimates required gallons per minute from target gallons per acre, travel speed, and nozzle spacing. Compare the result with a real calibration test and follow the pesticide label.
The grain moisture calculator uses a dry-matter balance: final weight equals incoming weight multiplied by (100 minus current moisture) divided by (100 minus target moisture). Commercial shrink schedules and drying charges may be different.
The calculator tools are free. Their calculations run in your browser and calculator entries are not sent to our server. The contact form uses a third-party form processor, and normal website hosting may process request logs.
No. Results are estimates based on the inputs and formulas shown on each page. Use a current soil test, product labels, equipment manuals, state Extension recommendations, and qualified professional advice when a decision requires them.
A calculator is only as useful as its inputs. Check product labels, seed tags, soil tests, supplier quotes, measured equipment output, grain tickets, and local Extension recommendations before using a result for an operational decision.
